Dr. Jason Edward Rozeski, MD

After a concussion that sent me to the emergency room, Dr. Jason Rozeski treated me like scum and just another patient to get out of the emergency room. First, he requested three different examinations without taking the time to explain each in detail. Second, he did not follow up on the results of my examinations. I received a normal result for the first exam (the cat scan). I did another test, which I have yet to understand the purpose or what the results of that were. I refused the third exam because he was not present to explain what the point of that exam was. The nurse told me my cat scan was normal and sent me home with a concussion pamphlet. I wasn't expecting a five star treatment, but I was expecting them to help me understand my injury and why this concussion was so serious. Maybe that would be a 5-minute conversation? I am not the only patient who is treated like dirt at Boulder Community Hospital, and Dr. Rozeski's immature demeanor is not uncommon there either. Even… though doctors go through a lot of tough patients to work with, they need to understand how people place trust into them and how strongly their words and actions influence their patients.
