He is thorough and caring- responds to calls and portal messages quickly. I’ve been very happy with him.

DR. Schatzel bedside manner leaves much to be desired. Ii have taken my special needs daughter to see him for 4 years. She is very obease, l told him I was very concerned with her weight and what could he suggest, He told me that there wasn't anything that could be done because of her being developmentally disable. In the four years she saw him, this is the only time he addressed her weight issue. He does not seem to care. Also it is almost impossibe to reach his office to schedule appointments or get perscription refills or just to ask a question. Go on and try to reach his office now and see how long it takes you to get someone on the phone. Needless to say, I no longer take my daughter there.

Dr. Schatzel and his staff unavailable to the needs of my elderly mother. The doctor seems unconcerned about her health issues. This doctor just does not appear to care

I have been very pleased with Dr Schatxel's Knowledge, Professionalism, Bedside Manner and Treatments. His diagnoses have been very accurate.

Dr. Schatzel is a very caring and kind physician. He really listens to his patients and is interested in even the smallest complaint. He really wants to find out what's causing a physical problem. I have recommended him to my friends and several are now patients of his.

I had been seeing Dr Schatzel for over a year for diabetes. I started having other problems and after numerous tests and not finding anything significant, he stopped trying to find out what was wrong. I asked if some new meds was causing the problems and he said no but I think it did. Once I stopped the meds 80% of the symptoms went away but I still have some problems. He doesn't adddress them at all and just goes on about my glucose levels and treatment. I think because he doesn't know whats wrong, he isn't trying to help me. I am now seeing another doctor who has made some suggestions and things to try.
