Dr. Jason Lee Silverston, MD

This guy has his schedule and communication between nurses and patients so confused. I don't think he even knows his schedule yet has the audacity to send a special message through his nurse (who was nice, all his staff are nice) to me telling I need to schedule sooner dates to deal with my hormonal issues. He's booked out till Dec and it's May. He should know that. This is a scathing call I got along with blood test results after the I'd just been there a week ago prior, drove 4 hrs total to see this guy because he's one of the closest endocrinologists. He knew I drove that far. He knew yes, I was 15 mins late but it can't be helped with traffic no matter how early you get a head start out. And yet he still rejected my visit, wouldn't see me. I came all that way for nothing. And this guy had a plan a medicine to put me on, really seemed serious like he professionally had it together. Truly cared about helping me get better. Suddenly I'm just a number. And worse yet he thinks I as a… patient have some magical ability to make my own appointment and make traffic fly. I feel so jerked around and insulted by the entire journey of B's he took me through all for nothing. Now, his lack of professionalism has made me feel so uncomfortable. The whole thing was so erroneous. I can't go back. So now I have to start back at square one with all this. He attitude is more fitting for lab rats over human beings.

I hoped for more than a 5 minute as a newly diagnosed insulin-dependent diabetic. His snappy answers to my questions were less-than-helpful. He was rude to my young daughter that had to come along with me. And even if his bedside manner had been better, the greatest disappointment was that his recommendations did NOT coincide with my thorough review of current literature and studies on my diagnosis. Unfortunately I was afraid to ask him any questions bc he was already so ill.

I'll admit that I was skeptical about seeing Dr. Silverston after reading some of his reviews but he could get me in so much sooner than anyone else, I decided to keep an open mind and give him the benefit of the doubt. He far exceeded my expectations. I have no idea how anyone could have any negative opinions of him. I've been into the clinic twice to see him and each time he spent at least 30 minutes with my husband and I talking through everything. He has coordinated with other physicians on my healthcare team and has personally called me numerous times to review lab/test results and discuss the "next steps." I've also experienced very short wait times in the office and extremely prompt response times with inquiries outside of the clinic. I have very few physicians who have spent as much time and given as much effort to my care as Dr. Silverston has. Don't hesitate to trust him with your care!
