Dr. Jason Thomas Skinner, DDS

Dr. Jason Skinner
    Dr. Skinner grew up here in Clear Lake and graduated from high school in 1991.  He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, receiving a bachelors degree in biology in 1995.  During his undergraduate years, he was involved in the youth ministries at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Iowa City, as well as campus ministries sponsored by the Newman Center at the university.  He was also active in the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, an international social and philanthropic organization.  During the academic year as well as the summer months he worked for former All Vets golf pro Mark Kerr to develop the Coralville golf course, Brown Deer Golf and Country Club.  Also during the course of undergraduate studies he began working at the Veterans Administration Dental Clinic in Iowa City.  
    Dr. Skinner attended dental school at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.  While at the college he was active in student government, …big brother mentorship programs, and acted as president of the national dental fraternity of Delta Sig.  While attending dental school he met his wife, Tammy, who worked as a receptionist at the college.  Following graduation, Tammy and Jason came back to Clear Lake to join Tom and Rae Bieber.  After marrying in July of 2000, Tammy gave birth to Mattea in 2002, Tyler in 2005, and Sophia in 2007.  The children attend school in Clear Lake while Tammy works as a teller at Clear Lake Bank and Trust.
