Dr. Jason Louis Sloane, MD

Dr. Sloane is very caring and thorough. He listens and is knowledgeable. I can talk to him and I know he doesn’t dismiss my concerns. One of the best doctors I ever had! We need more young doctors like Dr. Sloane in this area.

I’ve been with Dr.Sloane for three years now and he has changed my life. He listened to me and put me on the correct medication. I no longer feel exhausted and tired or struggling. My life is back on track. He’s an excellent doctor. I will follow Dr.Sloane wherever he goes. The administration at Slocum has gone down considerably. They will lose great doctors like Sloane.

Jason is very knowledgeable and effective. He listens to concerns and treats patients with respect.

I saw Dr Sloan for 5 appointments over the last year. I have a pump and a CGM. Each appointment was no different than the last. Sit down, go over my test results, go through my CGM numbers. This last time he decided that going over CGM numbers needed to be coded extra so I was then charged two copays. I contacted the office many times to no response. Finally got an answer and the nurse said she would talk to him. She called me back a day later and state he would change how he coded it. A month later I receive a bill again for two copays. I tried to get a hold of ANYONE in the office, they never answer the phone and never call back when a message is left. I finally realized I could send a message through online and he responded and told me it would be illegal for him to change how he coded it. Regardless if for the last 20 years my appts have been the exact same. He told me previous appts were coded wrong and it would be dishonest for him to code it any other way. Dude is clearly in it… for the money. 3 previous Dr's and 3 previous nurse practitioners of those Dr's and not one time has this ever been a problem. It is an appointment with an endocrinologist to go over my blood glucose numbers. No reason to code it as two appointments. Not sure how this is legal.

I feel rushed during appointments, does not answer my questions I send through his staff, not willing to see me in person, charge my insurance too much for the extremely short time he spends with me (fraud), never sends my prescriptions on time, always giving me expensive medications with lots of side effects, I will be leaving.

I sought out Dr. Sloane as I was having difficulties controlling my Type 2 condition. His strategy worked. CNY is fortunate to have a physician of his training and expertise relocate to our community.

Is caring and takes time to listen to issues and concerns. I would recommend.
