Dr. Jason Stoner is one of the top oral surgeons in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 1997. Immediately following dental school graduation, Dr. Stoner gained entrance to the prestigious Ohio State University Graduate Periodontology Program for residency training, where he received a Certificate of Periodontics in 2000. Concurrent with residency training, Dr. Stoner also graduated from The Ohio State University Graduate School with a Masters of Science Degree in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine. During Residency Dr. Stoner also received two scholarships from the American Cancer Society for his research in Oral Cancer.
Following training, Dr. Stoner traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina for a one year associateship concentrating on dental implant and esthetic periodontal therapies. In 2002, Dr. Stoner opened Stoner Periodontic Specialists in Dublin, …Ohio. In 2005, Dr. Stoner opened an additional branch in New Albany, Ohio.
Dr. Stoner is the Founder and Director of Sfumato, a Seattle Study Club-based dental study club for advanced and comprehensive dentistry and clinical excellence in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas, which includes over 50 dentists from all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Stoner is also a co-founder of Tumbleweed, a national periodontal study club devoted to clinical excellence in esthetic implant and periodontal therapies. Dr. Stoner is also an Executive Member and co-director of the North American Society of Periodontists, a study club comprised of over 100 periodontists from the United States and Canada.
As one of the top oral surgeons in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Stoner is a national lecturer on topics such as dental implant esthetics, complete mouth restoration utilizing dental implants, cone beam computerized tomography, advanced periodontal esthetic therapies, periodontally-accelerated osteogenic orthodontics, dental LASERs, marketing, business and developing customer loyalty.
When he is not working as a periodontist and oral surgeon, Dr. Stoner enjoys snow skiing, hiking, running and anything outdoors with his family.
