Due to COVID, I have had MANY virtual office visits and not one of the doctors was ever late. how can you be late to a virtual visit anyway? You know why? His office schedules the appointments in 15 min increments. How unfair. In addition, that Doxy app that is used does not allow you to navigate from the app once you have logged in. So if you get a phone call while you are waiting or go to check a message, you are unable to get back in. The staff accused me of not signing in to the appointments and stated that the doctor has had to repeatedly call my cell because I was never logged in. Clearly, he (the doctor) provided this lie because whenever he called me directly it was due to technical issues using the app or i became disconnected once i navigated away from the app to answer a test, email or phone call. The staff went so far as to tell me that I should not schedule my appointments if I am working or during my lunch hour. Even prior to virtual visits, most people… WOULD schedule appointments during their lunch hour or during the day. One just doesn't expect to wait 20 -45 min for the doctor to show up. I use my FSA card to pay for my co-pays and because of the inconsistent charges to my card (the copay should be $20, but I had been charged $30) my FSA administrator requested a receipt from the doctor. I asked for a receipt more than once and I was emailed something similar to a cash register receipt. No diagnosis code, no additional information. The basically provided a receipt that could have been for a candy bar, not an office visit. Just prior to my altercation with the office, I asked for the receipt again and was told that she would ask the doctor. ASK THE DOCTOR????? Whatever was being sent to charge my insurance those exorbitant prices should have been given to me to submit to the FSA administrator with no question. At any rate, I will not rest until there is a full investigation on the insurance fraud. Lastly, this doctor seems to hold the medication hostage. Giving a 14-day Rx during these COVID times when anything can happen is very dangerous. My Rx is not a opiate or narcotic, however, I have to have this pill daily and cannot miss a day. He seems to want to be sure that you make regular appointments so that he can charge the insurance carrier regularly. Just an FYI for the office, not only will my insurance carrier review my claims, they will be reviewing all claims submitterom this office.

He has been extremely patient , open minded and supportive during our interactions. I found him articulate, knowledgeable and highly professional. Additionally his office/staff are very proactive and well coordinated.

This doctor is a very good listener. He answers all your questions. He Is kind and always has a smile on his face when he greets you. He office staff is nice too. So happy I found him. I have been to two others doctors in this speciality they spent 5 minutes with you give you meds and send you in your way. I trust Dr J Uppal he truly cares

First time at counseling Dr. Uppal made me feel at ease.

This doctor is all about making money and neglecting on his patient. I called him multiple times for 2 days trying to have my medicine refill. He won't take time to make a phone call to clarify the medicine held up at the pharmacy. He said he won't make the call until he is done seeing all his patients for the day. I had no choice but waited and called back. He did not make the call and closed his business for the day and the weekend leaving me with no medicine. I am switching from this doctor and would not recommend anyone to see him. It is a very frustrating experience.
