Excellent doctor/surgeon. He is very concerned about his patients & their quality of life.

My Gastroenterologist was trying to eliminate possible gastro issues so he referred me to the Colon and Rectal Surgery center. The Dr. my Gastroenterologist recommended was unable to see me for six (6) weeks, so I asked to see the next available Dr. Dr. Madhavan had availability in two (2) days (which I should have been suspicious of that). In my opinion, it was obvious to me that Dr. Madhavan had either not reviewed my medical records that were forwarded prior to the appointment, or he did not retain my history- Otherwise he would not have prescribed an over the counter product containing Magnesium Citrate, as I have a Chronic Stage II Kidney Disease and that product would have been detrimental to my kidneys which again- in my opinion shows his lack of preparation or concentration to my file. My exam with Dr. Madhavan lasted about two (2) minutes; I had this same exam about nine (9) months prior at OSU, and the exam was an uncomfortable thirty (30) minute exam, but needed and… thorough.

Such a nice man. Doesn't make you feel like your bothering him or waiting his time.

I do not recommend this Dr. I never even found out the results of my colonoscopy. He never took anytime with me. The whole 5 minutes I did spend with him he just dismissed my diagnosis from another Dr. saying oh that is a catch all diagnosis you don't have that. Please find another Dr. don't waste your time with Dr. Madhavan.

Dr. Madhaven is the most passionate and caring Doctor I have ever met. I have had anal cancer twice in the last 10 years. If it wasn't for him I dont know what I would have done. I have never had a doctor so gentle and caring. He took all the time I needed to explain everything and then took the time to personally call a family member of my long distant and explain everything to them. If I could clone him and make a ton more of him I would. BEST DOCTOR IN THE WORLD

Recently had a colonoscopy conducted by Dr. Madhavan. Due to his findings he had me hospitalized for surgery. He expressed a great deal of concern for my problem. He informed me of what to expect, answering all questions I and my wife had. He is easy to talk to, with great bedside manner. I highly recommend him to anyone having medical issues in the area of his expertise. Thank you, Dr. Madhavan!

He did a fabulous job with my surgery and he was very knowledgable and friendly. Explained everything in laymans terms and I am very happy with the results. (Had my entire colon removed.)I am very glad I found Dr. Jazz. He is the best!

He acted as though he was not interested with my problem. The best thing that came out of this was the the test he ordered for me to take. Because of the test's I know what my problem is. when I went to have the results read, he was not thorough. He said you decide if you want to have surgury to fix the provlem. Go home and think about. When I decided to have the surgury, I couln't get in contact with him. I wanted to schedule an appointment do discuss the procedure that was going to be done on me. My Primary Care Physician finally called the office and was able to schedule the appointment for the surgury. I tried several times to schedule an appointment with the doctor before the sugury, so he could discuss what was going to take place. I cound not get an appointment. I didn't know the procedue he was going to perform, recovery time, nothing. Two days before the surgury I cancelled. I'm happy for those of you who had a positive experience, but unfortunately, for me that was… not the case.
