This man saved my life both mentally and physically. I was diagnosed with cancer at 17. He confidently told me countless times I would be cured and he did just that. But in addition, he recognized what it means to be a patient - to be scared and nervous and to be concerned that your life will forever be follow up tests and visits to the doctor. He made his own, intelligent, assessment as to how often I should see him and have follow-up work performed post-surgery. He would constantly talk to me about quality of life and how I'm cured and so, he doesn't need to see me all the time. He'd tell me "Live your life! You are young!" Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me. Surgeons who are both kind and intelligent seem hard to come by these days but I found it in you.

The word c is a scary one. Just the trust and his experience over period of time , you know one is the right hands. All the questions I had prepared to ask, were answered before I had a chance. He knows the feelings and mental status of the patient. 80% of battle is over there itself. Rest is Gods Grace and his Skills work together hand in hand. He is Very busy, but the Best. Absolute best ever. Everyone leaves his office with the look of hope in their eyes. An absolute humble man with the sweetest bedside manner. Before each surgery, he patted my head until I fell asleep due to anesthesia. He's important enough not to do that stuff but he does.

Dr. Shah was amazing! Spent time with me, was kind and caring. Inspired the most confidence in me and my wife! Although my surgery turned out to be a small day procedure, he took care of it himself and was always available for follow ups and answered all our questions to our utmost satisfaction. This man not only saved my voice but saved my life. I had Papillary Carcinoma and he performed a radical neck disection removing my thyroid and surrounding lymph glands. All but one parathryroid was infected which he transplanted back into my neck muscle and has been working fine since. That was 1982?1983? I was 18 I am now 52 ! I would do anything for his man and I am planning on calling him to tell him I am still alive and kicking as well as sending him pictures of my two beautiful daughters who would never have even existed if it was not for him. This doctor did somehing no one would ever ever even think of doing in 1983. he is one of the most talented and exceptional doctors I have ever met.He saved my sons life and has always been there when needed for the past 7 years and is always available or his team is ready to back him up He has the most talented team in the world and is noted throughout the world

this dr. made us wait in the room next door to him where he was, talking to his broker about stocks and mergers. When he finally came in after 1Hour, he was rude, impatient and made my husband bleed into a sink. he took an unecessary biopsywhich was throat cancer , tonsill cancer. he is inhuman. i certainly WOULD NOT reccomond him... we als paid cash upfront. he wouldn;t tale our plan at the time.

I have not had a recurrence since presenting with stage 3 base of tongue squamous cell carcinoma in 1986. This overwhelmingly gifted and dedicated surgeon is nothing short of a genius in this field. You must seek a specialist who treats and diagnoses oral cancer regularly. There are no second chances.

Walkng in for a second opinion meant I was already told I have cancer. If this guy agrees with the doctors I saw last week, I'll have the surgerg. So he says yes, and now what. So what do I do? Will he do the procedure? He says "Of course". With his seeming like flow of confidense oozing into me, I have to agree. Never doubting him or his decision, he operates the next week.
