I’ve been going here for way….to long! Over the past 4 years I’ve been misdiagnosed with bipolar and put on several heavy medication that have basically put me to sleep 16hrs a day and the minuscule time I’m actually awake I’m depressed anxious and only spiraling downward. They don’t listen to you. Every single time (and it’s not an exaggeration) that I go in for my appointment early or have a virtual appointment Marilyn is a minimum of 2 hrs late. No apologies. Nothing. When I finally have her attention it’s only for maybe 10 minutes. Don’t bother trying to get anyone in the office on the phone either. I’ve been calling since they opened this morning and they refuse to pick up the phone. Its like this every single time I try to get ahold of anyone there. I know they think it’s because they are so “busy” but if they don’t actually care about their patients eventually they won’t be busy anymore. Like any business the customer is the most vital part. They could care less. When I finally… do get someone on the phone they are dismissive and will actually be upset! I really have no idea why I’ve gone here for so long. Worst doctor and doctors staff I’ve ever had to deal with. Please do yourself a huge favor and don’t bother going here.

Office staff are a joke- service is worse than going to McDonald's and trying to fix an order!

In my opinion stay away from this doctor--run and do not look back. The only "service" he provides is a lack of service. Something needs to be done about such poor physicians. Unfortunately, in rural areas it is a little hard since he is the only psychiatrist in town. In my opinion it is worth the drive to a larger city, I would not even waste 3 or 4 visits "trying" him out.

I think this is the first review I've written about anything, and Idk how many people this will reach, but I felt I had to share my experience. I began seeing Dr. Rana in late 2011/early 2012, shortly before moving to MA for a year. I've had maybe 10 office visits, at best, yet I've seen at least 3 inexcusable errors: 1. Dr. Rana mistakenly wrote me a prescription for the wrong meds 2. Dr. Rana mistakenly wrote me a prescription for the wrong meds AGAIN 3. Dr. Rana gave me a 7-day sample of a medication that can't be combined with another med I'm taking. I experienced a potentially life-threatening condition as a result. All of this is in addition to his less-than-professional office staff. It's a psychiatry office. One would hope the staff would be friendly, but it's definitely not. Then you have the overbooking of patients, leading to at least an hour wait at every appointment. Save yourself and go elsewhere.
