Dr. Jatinder Singh Sekhon, MD

Very disappointing experience and quality of service. The first and the ONLY video visit lasted 2 minutes. I was referred to this doctor by my physician to treat the disease. During the video appointment, which I was charged for IN ADVANCE over the phone, doctor Sekhon mentioned that he would review the tests and imaging. It has been three weeks and I have not received any direction in regard to the treatment. It is impossible to communicate with this Dr. and his disorganized staff. Their billing department also screwed up by NOT submitting my claim to insurance. I had to call repeatedly to get the billing issue straightened out. Even after the claim was filed with the insurance, the amount did not reflect what I paid to the Dr. Office. Overall, the practices of this office are shady and low quality. Do not waste your time, effort, and money and go elsewhere.

Tried to schedule appointment based on referral, gave info was told someone would call to schedule. No one did in 2 weeks! Called back got scheduled time for virtual phone appointment. Confirmed I Phone - for Facetime. 45 minutes late office staff call me to say “ We have been calling you for 30 minutes on Google platform? Confirmed I have I Phone. Doctor finally calls 45 minutes late, I ask him why he blames office staff and I Pad issues! Me- Was that an apology? Dr Sekhon- No not an apology. Me- Ok - I am going to look elsewhere , thanks. Office Staff seem rushed and unfocused and the Doctor lacks basic business sense.

The actual endoscopy experience was positive and I felt safe. However, this doctor did not take the time to explain to me what was going to happen, check in on me before the procedure, or explain the findings after. He only gave me about 1 minute of his time. After, the office called me and gave me the findings and I was still left with many questions but did not get a chance to have them answered and was not offered a follow-up appointment. This doctor may be skilled in doing procedures but when it comes to patient care and comfort I did not have a great experience.

I couldn't get an emergency visit with pain due a large stone in the gall bladder. Receptionist Amy told me that the doctor goes on vacation in 2 weeks and he is completely booked up for these 2 weeks. After that I asked to give me at least an order for an ultrasound test. I called every day and I have been told by receptionist Amy that they would call me themselves so that I don't have to call them again and again. I was waited for a response from the doctor from Tuesday to Friday - NOBODY bother to call back. On Friday I called back myself again I was told by receptionist Amy that doctor left me a message that he will not give me ultrasound now. What a mess! I WAS a follow up patient and NEVER go to this doctor again.

A growing concern in this country is the quality of healthcare within that is the time spent with patients . I arrived to see this physician on time after waiting 1.5 months for an appointment . I was informed by the reception staff (after inquiring)that he is running slightly behind with 1 person in front of me. 5 minutes later the patient before me is called back to be triaged and placed in a room. 10 minutes later, I am called back. I sat in the room for 25-30 minutes at which time I acknowledged that this physician wasn't appreciative or respectful of my time or money because TIME IS MONEY. I couldn't show up 40 minutes late for an appointment and expect to be treated. I visited this practice in 2016 but don't remember being treated this way although, I did feel that the appointment was rushed . I cannot accept this treatment from a physician as a new or returning patient. If you should choose to visit this office , make sure your schedule is OPEN until he can give you 5… minutes of his time to make a dx.

Dr. Sekhon is the kindest Doctor and he knows what he is doing. He takes the time to talk to you, not like most Doctor's who rush through the xam. 5 stars for a 10 star Doctor.

Had liver transplant with severe digestive issues after. Dr. Sekhon told me to be glad I am alive and take Prilosec! He is the worst doctor ever.

Dr. sekhon has not provided me with my results from my ultra sound in 3 weeks, awful patient communication. never able to converse as he is hardly in the office. never returns call back. very un-professional.

Dr. Sekhon is just absolutely wonderful! I have been a patient of his for a long time now and he is always such a joy when I come to see him. I love the new office, it's so spacious and decorative. It made me feel calm as soon as I entered.

staff is not very helpful; always needs to hold for a long time; needs to get more staff or reduce the number of patients - money is not everything.
