Dr. Javed Ghani, MD

Was under Ghani's "care" for give or take 2 weeks in a psych ward. He would constantly antagonize patients intentionally, needling at them to provoke a reaction. I called him out on it and he referred to it as his "method" while smirking. Months after my discharge I found out from someone I met inside that he had been drenched in collected urine on two separate occasions by two different patients whom I'd also known. They were still there because Ghani insisted on setting dates that they would be discharged then inexplicably changed his mind, more of his "method" I imagine. I found out later from my insurance company that the reason I had been held so much longer than they had told me was due to Ghani billing them for an extra week of treatment that he had deemed unnecessary when speaking to me. Not only is Javed Ghani a poor psychiatrist, he acts blatantly unethically and should not be allowed to continue practicing in the manner that he does.
