went in for a broken middle finger and was told to take Tylenol, ibuprofen and that i can work no problems. she seen me for 3 min. tops. waited over 3.8 hours to be treated like nothing happened. the tip of my finger was shattered and i was in a huge amount of pain during my wait (i had to wait forever). no ice, no hurry to help or any compassion from anyone at MercyOne, North IA. also, the assisting “nurse” was rude, she actually told me i can work, not the doctor (fact: the nurse never left to ask the doctor about work when i inquired about it . ie; mind u i had to work the very next day, less than 12 hrs away, a job that requires me to use my right hand. actually both hands. no note for my employer, and no restrictions. just to follow up with my primary in a wk. didn’t know nurses were able to make these decisions alone. the room i was put in was filthy and the nurse thought it was odd because no one had been in that room. observant, but also a liar. the room, didn’t dirty itself.
