Dr. Javier Lopez, MD

I don’t even want to give Dr Javier Lopez one star, but in order to leave a review, I have no choice. I have been going to his office for years. The front staff is rude, NOT friendly, and very very unprofessional. When you work in this type of office, everyone in the office should be kind and empathetic being that patients are going there for mental health care. I personally, have been treated poorly by the front desk. Jen especially. Jen had an attitude every single I’ve called in, as though I am bothering her. Jen intentionally didn’t return an important phone call after I left a message asking to be called back. How do I know she intentionally didn’t call me back? Because I called in the next day, Jen answered the phone. I asked if she got my message. She said no, I explained why I called. She cut me off half way through my explanation and all of sudden knew exactly what I had called in about! I then said “okay so you knew that I called, why didn’t you call me back?” she proceeded… to get an attitude with me and was VERY frustrated that I called her out on that. Now, this is only ONE example of Jens poor behavior. I just went to an appointment with Dr Javier Lopez yesterday and he calls me into his office. Asks me how I’m doing. Then proceeds to say “I apologize for the mix up in pharmacies but we treat everyone the same here and you are NOT to speak to the staff the way you did” Dr Javier Lopez said that the front desk staff AKA JEN said I was “not nice”. I am now shaking in his office and I explain every time Jen has been nasty towards me and I even expressed that she is the reason why I don’t go to therapy with Dr Dufore anymore. I was going to that office to feel better, not to be treated the way I’ve been treated for years. The way that Dr Javier Lopez responded to what I said, was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I am disgusted with the way this office treats people. And I will too admit, that Dr Javier Lopez doesn’t care about your well being. He doesn’t genuinely listen to your concerns. He is more concerned about making money off the medications he is prescribing you. Dr Javier Lopez, I am going to leave a review on every website that has your name on it so no one has to be subjected to the way YOU and your OFFICE treats people. And I will be contacting Dr Morgan as I know he runs that office. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

It saddens me to know this Doctor is more concerned about making /losing money ,then he is about the well-being for his patience.

I love seeing Dr. Lopez. He's very understanding and takes time to actually listen to my issues. I've had my depression and anxiety under control for over 6 years.
