Javier Mora, MD

Dr. Mora is a radiation oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based cancer care with a focus on individualized treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University, medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by residency training at the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program in Boston. During residency, Dr. Mora also served as a chief resident, taking on leadership responsibilities in resident education, program development, wellness, and patient care quality and safety initiatives. He is excited to serve patients in his hometown now as an attending radiation oncologist while contributing to medical education, clinical innovation, and advancement of high-quality cancer care in the greater Milwaukee area.Outside of work, Dr. Mora enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and cities, and spending time with friends and family.My philosophy of patient care is grounded in compassion, …communication, and partnership. I believe that treating cancer extends beyond delivering the most appropriate radiation therapy-it means understanding the person behind the diagnosis, listening to their goals and concerns, and helping them navigate what often may be a new experience to patients. I strive to provide evidence-based, personalized care while making sure every patient understands their diagnosis, treatment options, expected benefits, and potential side effects. I believe patients should be empowered to participate in decisions about their care, and I take the time to answer questions and ensure that they are supported. I also value close collaboration with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other members of the care team to develop treatment plans that reflect each patient's individual needs. My goal is for every patient to not only receive excellent cancer care, but also genuine compassion and respect. It is a privilege for me to accompany patients and their families through their cancer journey and to be a trusted partner throughout treatment and beyond.
