Dr. Javier Orosco, MD

I've been going to Dr. Orosco for the past year for my 3 children, whom 2 of them are very delicate with so many problems ranging from asthma, eczema, food allergies, you name it! Each visit, Dr. O explains very thoroughly about their medical issues, the latest medical advice, latest medicines, he's very accurate and respectful. Dr. Orosco is a very busy doctor, because he's affordable, quick, and effective. His staff are very friendly and quick also. I recommend their office.

I came here sice i was a little girl .. I been in his office with my son for 8 month and my and every time my son is sick " he has an allergy" and I end up in the hospital everytime .. I ask for a referral to a specialits and he said noooo!! And he got really mad !!! His not GOD he thinks he knows everything! You ask him a question and he responds so rude and everything is normal for him!!! Never goin back !!! :(

I will tell my friend who is currently going there to stop because he has a 99% chance he will die, if he doesn't know whats wrong with him and keeps on changing his detergent (BASED ON DOCTOR'S RECOMMENDATION) I dislike him never actually got cured and i would like to know who his teacher was, probably drunk if he passed a student who was supposed to fail.

I've seen this doctor on and off for my child for one reason: $. His rates are very affordable. So whenever my son's health insurance is not in effect (due to frequent job changes) I opt to go there for vaccinations, illness, and physicals. They are heavily busy on phones, but they are very good at getting you in and out. I never have to wait long nor have I had problems. The only time was when all the offices closed because there was a water leak in the walls that caved the ceiling in the lower level office. It wasn't their fault. Now, the doctor himself doesn't seem like the best doctor, all he says is "uhum," and quickly diagnoses. Don't get me wrong, he's very knowledgeable-I've taken my son there for six years on and off. But he doesn't try to build a connection to the child or parent. Yet I still prefer to take my son there whenever needed than to another unknown doctor.

I was referred to this DR office by a nurse my father met . She swore it was a good office and doctor. Let me start by saying , I never made it to the office but I would still give it 1 star. It all started when I called to make an appointment for my son to get his shots. A lady answered and rattled of what I think was her name and the doctors office . I proceeded to tell her that I wanted to make an appointment she cut me off before I could tell her what it was for and she asked if he was sick , I replied "no"and she said "hold". She came back and said "wed at 10:30" . She never asked what part of the week or what time was good for me. Relucantly i made the appointment . After getting off the phone I realized that she never asked if my son was already a patient, his age, my name , what insurance or what the visit would be for. I don't know about her but this is my baby and I don't take lightly who sees him about his health. Anyways there is more. I called the day before the… appointment cause I never received a reminder call. The lady answered, I told her why I was calling and she proceeded to tell me the offices were closed and had been for the past couple days and would be till the following week because of a pipe leak. They were never going to call to inform me of that and I would have driven all the way to oxnard for nothing. Makes me wonder if my appointment was ever really made. Did not reschedule and will not promote this office . Dr. Orosco needs to understand that his staff are a direct reflection of him and how he runs things.

Rude, just mean

He is just awesome with the kids and explains everything very well. Answers all my questions.

dr.orosco isnt as good of a doctor i went in asking him a few questions and all his answers were with a dull attitude. ive never gone back ever since.Although the ladys at the front dest were nice and polite, sad to be working for a doctor like him.
