Yes, I said Epic. With everyone throwing around words like amazing all the time, I needed a more prolific word to describe a man with a heart of gold. He is; thorough, fast, effective, caring, affordable, gental, and you can get an appointment when you need one. I've had 3 root canals done by him, with minimal discomfort. Did you know that after he does a filling you're not sore, it's magic (I didn't know it was possible to not be sore after dental work.) I loved the dentist as a child and when I outgrew the age requirements I started going to Dr. Valadez at Mission Valley's Smile San Diego. When I didn't have private insurance I saw other dentist which made me fearful of dentist. So much that I started taking relaxing medicines to see these other dentists. I tried several offices with all the same result. One tried to do a filling without numbing me. I thought at one point I needed to be sedated just for a filling. NO, I needed a good dentist. I got private ins again and called… Valadez's office to get an appt. He doesn't work here anymore said the girl, but he's got his own office in La Mesa. I will never go anywhere else or see anyone else. Thankful beyond words. I highly recommend him and his team!

I had an implant done by him at Smile San Diego a year ago. I had virtually no pain during the procedure and the subsequent visits which took 6 - 7 months to complete. He was the least expensive also. Great manner, puts you at ease right away. Now, I hear he is no longer with Smile San Diego, what a bummer! I will be tracking him down for another implant.

Dr Valdez is very caring and gentle provides excellent care

I've been seeing Dr. Valadez at Smile San Diego in Mission Valley. All I can say is that if every dentist I have had my entire life was like Dr. Valadez I would not have the fear of going to the dentist! He is truly amazing! I know he has many patients but he has a way of making me feel like I'm the only one. He is very friendly and he is fast and very talented! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Valadez!!

Dr Valadez and staff are great! He is so persobable, very friendly and is an excellent clinician! I am so happy with all the work he has done and even happier that I was at ease and very comfortable with him and his assistant. He came very highly recommended and he lives up to his reputation! The entire staff (both front and back) are excellent!

Dr valadez is awesome! He is so friendly and has excellent chairs side manner! The entire staff and all the other doctors at Smile San Diego are great too! My family and I are so happy to have found this place!
