Dr. Jawed M Movania, MD

Have been seeing Dr Movania for several years. He always listens and spends time explaining his actions and recommendations. I am very happy with the care he provides.

Dr. Movania goes above and beyond for me. I’m really sick (chronic respiratory failure) and he never fails to do everything he can to make sure I’m okay. I’m so glad I met him. He’s very nice and attentive.

Two weeks ago I went in for my monthly visit in order to get my refill prescriptions. It was determined I had a UTI, one antibiotic was prescribed. Once the culture come back, it was necessary to change & buy another antibiotic. In the meanwhile my knee had started bothering me. My knee got progressively worse until I had to go to ER over-the weekend. So bad I was difficult to walk, and my rollator walked recently broke. So I arranged to go to Dr Movania’s office Monday. When I made the appointment I’d mentioned I’d been at the ER and had broken my walker and had to get a prescription otherwise Medicare will not pay for it. And due to my UTI I’d been on antibiotics for two weeks, which caused me to get a yeast infection. Monday, then when I went in for my appointment , I explained to the nurse (Samantha) that I had a horrible yeast infection. All she wanted to discuss was my ER trip. Now after taking the Cortisone that the ER doctor prescribed my knee was not my main concern, as it… was much better. Samantha abruptly leaves the room as I’m still talking. After waiting, expecting her to return Louise ( another employee) coms in with a order-for a cat scan scan. I explain to Louise I needed a walker & yeast infection prescription. She informed me Samantha was finished with me as she had treated me for a follow up visit from the ER ( which was too soon to have been there for that,the next day) I had Louise speak to Samatha and tell her I desperately needed my prescriptions. Needless to say , it was a waste of time. As I’m leaving I overheard Louise discussion my ordeal with another employee. That was my breaking point .... after a few words I told Louise I’d never return there & tossed the order for the cat scan on the floor. I then go to The store and purchase a walker and more over the counter medication for my yeast infection. Then strangely yesterday I get a voice mail from Louise she’d be mailing me my cat scan order with a prescription for a walker. I’ll return it as well as never go into that office ever. My yeast infection is so bad I’ll go to Care First today. The only explanation I was ever given was they could only treat me for one thing a visit. I’m 78 years old and it’s a chore for me to get to the doctor as it is and once there if I can’t get treated for what’s necessary..... then it’s time to find a different doctor (which I’ve done) I can’t help but wonder what if anything the doctors make by referring for tests.

Dr. Movania has been my doctor for 18 years. He is very compassionate and a caring Doctor, I have never had a bad visit with him the staff is very friendly and caring.

Jawed M Movania, MD is the best doctor I've ever had in this area. Very caring, takes time to listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed. I have highly recommended him to all family and friends and most love him after their first visit.

Great doctor and he will not hesitate to run any test or refer you to any outside doctor that maybe necessary ! I HIGHLY recommend him!
