Dr. Jawed Nasim, MD

He's the rudest, most condescending doctor i've ever met. he "recused" his care from my dad (norton women & children) because i asked too many questions & he refused to answer them. when i asked a question he kept referring to mychart & everyone knows you can't see doctors notes in mychart. he refused to explain anything & questioning his diagnosis was definitely a no no. he walked up on me to the point where my dad (getting out of his hospital bed) had to tell him to back up. got very irate when i told him i was reporting him to the board. He's absolutely the worse doctor i've ever encountered in my life & by far doesn't have any bedside manners or any at all from what i saw.

He is attentive and caring . He saved my life after a life threatening diagnosis surgery that developed sepsis. Prescribed 3 mos of daily antibiotics and kept a close watch on me. Thanks to Dr nasim I am still here after 2 yrs. Wonderful and capable dr

This is my 3rd attempt to write a review. Dr. Nasim was my Dr when admitted to Babtist East Hospital. He was awful in everyway. My email is shelligrl1957@yahoo. I've reported him to the hospital & my insurance company. Next will be the medical Board. My experience with him was unprofessional & scary. Also I basically got no care. Contact me if you'd like to know more. Please review all doctors if you can before using them. Ask around. I ended up in a bad situation admitted thru the ER. God help the people this man sees.

This physician prefers to not ..."deal with upset family members.. because he has a reputation to uphold" direct quote. He actually refused to return phone call requests and told a nurse at Baptist East that she should ..."just have the hospitalist contact the patient's responsible party because he was not going to return requests for results and information". Our family member was a very ill patient with multiple issues & frankly this physician could have cared less. Do yourself a favor & seek another Infectious Disease Consult if you value good communications with your physician. His bedside manner is less than zero. Dr. Nasim got me through a life threatening infection I developed after minor surgery. I would definitely go to him again.

The day after being released from the hospital, I had to call him about some problems I was having getting a prescription he wrote. He informed me:"It's not my problem. You are wasting my time. I have patients to see." When I asked if was ANYTHING he could do, he curtly answered "No" and hung up on me. He was also rude and curt with me when I was in the hospital. I wouldn't see him again if he was the only "doctor" in town.
