Dr. Jay Lawrence Adler, MD

Given thyroid medicine in my 20s, which made me lose my hair. I didn't even need it, but he didn't perform the myriad of tests needed to accurately dx the problem. He also just thinks his poop doesn't stink.

great doc.. system is too big.. time for a change

I am a new patient with Jay Adler. My first visit with him, before I could even talk with him in reference to why I had made the appointment, he saw in my chart that I take 1 - 3 5/325 Norco per day (I've had spinal fusion, & have osteo and rheumatoid arthritis). His immediate focus became getting me into physical therapy and off pain meds, completely ignoring the reason I had came to see him. Mr Adler may have been a satisfactory doctor in his day, assuming he actually cared for and about his patients. His only concern for me was that I be on board with his orders or he couldn't help me. Again, never addressing the reason for my appointment!

Dr. Adler is a caring, compassionate doctor. He takes his time with his patients, has a wonderful sense of humor, and is very optimistic. He questions a lot of the "rumors" going on out there about medicine, and really makes his patients think. He is very knowledgeable about modern medicine and is on the up and up on new studies out there and what they mean. He takes his time and explains in detail concerns of his patients. I feel in very good hands with him and it is obvious that he does his homework.

Dr Adler is by far the kindest and most compassionate doctor in town. He has always had a good handle on my medical problems and his staff loves him too! And the office visits start on time unless he has a medical emergency - in which case you are told upon check-in. Well run office!

He is a production doc looking to pass you off to one of the partners. After taking tests or xrays, he may fail to discuss them with you , he gets patients mixed up and makes arbitrary, capricious diagnosis. He does not do a complete physical, misplaced his stethoscope weeks ago. Jay Adler is obviously about the Money. He should be retiring soon, hopefully, Jay Adler is a poor choice for your new doctor.

Dr. Adler is good Doc but needs to listen a little more. I called for apt I explained if I had this problem again I was to come in immediately it was the 12 they could get me in the 28 WOW. They don't care they only make appt. Many of my complaints are with CSHP not Dr. Adler. All CSHP cares about is money not people. New to the area don't go to CSHP, I will be looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Adler and his staff are very caring an helpful. He is very open minded and takes his time with you. I've never had a poblem with getting an appt or wait time. They seem to be very organized and timely.

Dr. Adler has been my doctor for about 10 years. He is very caring. He takes his time helping his patients. If he is not available for an appointment his P.A. is also awesome. The office staff is also very compassionate and professional.
