Dr. Jay J Brown, MD

Dr. Jay Brown is an exceptional doctor. He has excellent bed side manners, as well as, a gift for making a patient feel at ease under uncomfortable or embarrassing circumstances/ procedures. He listens to the patient and gives his recommendation and plan of action without undermining the patients wishes or concerns. Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is very lucky to have him as one of their Emergency Room physicians.

In my profession I have had several opportunities to see the care Dr. brown provides, though a few weeks ago I visited the ER for a personal ailment. I was so thankful to see Dr. Brown to be on-duty and acting as my treating Dr. for this incident. He made my visit a very positive experience. He is extremely knowledgable in his diagnoses, a consummate professional, solidly caring, compassionate and sincere in the care he provides..not only in my situation, but all encounters I have witnessed. I had reason to be in the ER approximately one week later and he recognized me. He greeted me and asked how I was feeling. That was a very personable gesture that stands out in my mind. I would absolutely recommend the great care given by Dr. Jay Brown. Outstanding ER service! Thank you much!

Dr. Brown is an excellent emergency room physician who zeroes in quickly on the problem and couldn't really be nicer, either. He seems to see the patient as a person and is one of the nicest doctors I've ever been to.
