You refused to accept that his Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) was causing his chronic relentless pain. After his passing we donated his brain to CTE Boston University and the results came back that his frontal lobe was covered solid in Tau forms, result in a stage four diagnoses. He told you the headaches and nausea were unbearable, you handed him a box of kleenex. I will never forget how you treated him with such disregard.

If you want a "military" doctor who does nothing but tells you to take pain pills or have surgery then he is your man! I don't intend to do either. I want to know what happened to the doctor that took time to get to the root of the issue, was kind, gentle, understanding,...and CARED! He did not LISTEN TO ME, was too busy talking over me ... nor did he ask any "right" questions to try to see what might really be going on ... the old motto "GET IN - GET OUT prevails here.

Dr. Ellis was the Anesthesiologist and post operative pain management doctor for my ACL replacement surgery. I had a very bad pain management experience with a prior ACL surgery on my other knee where he was not the anesthesiologist and very much wanted to avoid a repeat of that horrible experience. Dr. Ellis was selected by my surgeon due to his expertise for pain management. From my perspective, it was an excellent choice. My post operative pain was well managed by Dr. Ellis. A huge improvement over my prior experience. I highly recommend him.

This doctor should get THE MOST COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR Award. He is caring, and NEVER gives up on his patients, even when the patient themselves gives up. He researches, studies, and consults with other doctors to find a way to help his patients. He's intelligent and knows what is best for his patients. I am the luckiest person in the WORLD to have this great doctor treating me!
