Dr Jay gonzalez delivered my two boys when I lived in Wisconsin and now that I’m in Alaska pregnant with my third all I can think about is how much I absolutely MISS GONZALEZ! Hands down… best OBGYN you could ask for, he listens, he cares, he explains things in a non-scary way and even made delivery of my boys awesome even though I was absolutely mortified the first time (lol) thank you for being thorough and always feeling like the patient is heard when concerns come Up. Dr. Gonzalez saved my life! In a routine annual gynecological exam, he performed a breast exam and found a lump. He ordered an immediate mammogram with 3D ultrasound for the following day, and they found I had stage 2 breast cancer. I was only 41 and had not started getting annual mammograms yet since I didn’t have a history of breast cancer in my family. If it would not have been for him being so thorough and finding that lump, who knows how long it would’ve been before I would have known I had breast cancer. I’ve used Dr. G for 12+ years for regular gynecological exams and he has always been kind, compassionate, caring and thorough. His nurses are so friendly and caring, too. I see him at both the Neenah clinic and at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh; both facilities are very nice. I highly recommend Dr. Gonzalez!

Dr. Gonzalez has made me feel comfortable after a bad experience with another doctor within his practice whose bedside manner was not the greatest. He is always professional and gentle and although I prefer a female doctor in that area, I feel completely comfortable with him. He delivered my first child and although I am moving from the area I will still travel the distance to see him. Thats how awesome he is. His nurse is always really sweet also and between the two of them, you really feel like that care about your health and the health of your baby if you are seeing him while pregnant.

Dr. Gonzalez is such an amazing person and doctor.I went through 4 Obgyns and was ready to give up and get a midwife and then I saw Dr. G. He always listened, never rushed visits and was very helpful. He was so compassionate and went above and beyond to help me while I was experiencing anxiety during my pregnancy. I was so comfortable with him and he is seriously just the sweetest man. I would recommend him to anyone! I plan to have him deliver the rest of my children!

I agree with what most of the other positive reviewers have to say about Dr. Gonzalez. My previous dr., who I was not very happy with, was going on medical leave, so I saw Dr. G. Iâ??m so glad I did, because I felt completely comfortable with him right away. My husband and I were having fertility problems at the time, and he was very professional and helpful. He took time to address our questions and concerns. I never felt rushed like I did with my previous dr. Although I did not conceive at that time, I felt he did everything he could before referring me to a specialist and was compassionate and caring the entire time. Years later, I did end up conceiving, and I knew there was only one Dr. I wanted to see through my pregnancy and delivery. I completely trusted him and always felt like I was in good hands. Dr. G and the entire staff provided exceptional care, and I can only think of positive things to say about my experience with them. I looked forward to every visit. Dr. G is both… professional and personal. The impression I have had with other doctors is they are just doing a job, but Dr. G makes you feel like he genuinely cares about your health and well being. I would highly recommend Dr. G to every woman looking for a dr. that will take the time to listen and offer outstanding care.

Dr. G was great in the beginning. I saw him for 7 years. I have a lot of female problems and he was able to provide me with excellent care until about 6 years later. I kept seeing him week after week because I was experiencing some new, painful symptoms. Every time I saw him he kept giving me the same excuse why I was having these new symptoms. Not once did he ever want to do more testing! He was NOT listening to me. He just assumed he knew what was going on. So, I decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness I did. My new symptoms I was having had nothing to do with my condition Dr g diagnosed me with 7 years ago. My new doctor listened to me and did further testing to find out that I needed a hysterectomy to take away my pain and other issues. Got it done and my only regret is I didn't leave Dr g sooner. For whatever reason he decided to stop listening to me and before he even walked in my room he already had his mind made up on what was wrong. If I was still seeing him I would… probably be in such bad health with a doctor still not listening. I'm finally healthy and pain free and encourage anyone out there to take their health in their own hands and find a doctor who will listen to you. Regardless of past health issues. Horrible for a doctor to dismiss their patients. Shame on you Dr g!

Dr. Gonzalez is amazing. He is very thorough and very caring. All of the staff is also very nice and caring. We had an ectopic pregnancy a couple years ago and he made me feel comfortable and was so sympathetic. I loved having him as a doctor and miss him now that I am living out of state. I would recommend him to every woman looking for a great doc. :-)

I've been a patient of Dr. Gonzalez for about 5 years now and he has seen me through some stressful and embarassing times. Now that I am expecting my 1st child, theres no better Dr. for me. He takes his time to answer questions, never seeming rush even though I know he's busy. He always remembers what we discussed in previous visits and is wonderful at putting my husband and me at ease with any concerns. A client of mine who works with him called him "the best of both worlds" when concerning the difference between a midwife and MD & I totally agree.I am comfortable to ask him anything and fully confident in his hands.
