Dr. Jay S Grider, DO

Lucy is cold, inattentive, has no compassion. She seems to enjoy taking my pain meds away and doesn’t care that I’m miserable. I have MS, RA, multiple fractures, and more. She won’t even let me talk to Dr Grider and lies to me.

Excellent care and rapport with patients.

Dr Grider is an AMAZING doctor!!!! I have CRPS in my leg & have been in excruciating pain for 6 years. He has worked with me for 5 years now trying to help get my pain under control. Last year the FDA finally approved a new stimulator, the DRG stimulator. He implanted it as soon as he could for me & it has changed my life. My pain went from an 8.5 to a 4 or 5 Dr Grider is always very considerate of my well being & so very friendly. Would not go to a different Dr for nothing.

I had a pain stimulator installed a few years ago and am glad I did . My pain has improved and Dr. Grider did a good job. My issue is the way he and the staff make me feel. I have had no contact with them since my surgery nearly 3 years ago. I contacted them recently for help managing the unit and was treated poorly. I feel unlinked and unwelcome by Dr. Grider and the staff. I strongly believe they do not want me in the practice and I will be looking for another Dr. to help me in the future .

I used to have a great deal of trouble getting in to see Dr. Grider. He has been mdoctor for over 5 years. He is extremely good at what he does for me. It used to be nigh on to impossible to get appointments with Dr. Grider himself and/or to get information forwarded to him. He told me that things would be vastly better when the clinic moved into the new location. And, hallelujah, it IS. I really want my doctor for procedures and for him to make the decisions about what to do for my conditions when something really goes wrong and now we have that type of communication again. I used to think that I was just getting lost in the shuffle but things are running smoothly again and I KNOW that Dr. Grider is being informed when I am having a major malfunction. He is a great doctor and very compassionate. I recommend him to anyone who is suffering from severe chronic pain. Thank you, Dr, Grider !

Dr Grider is kind compassionate caring. He listens to me. Takes his time with me. He never gives up, trying to help me get my pain under control. Doesn't treat me like I'm crazy . I can't say enough good things about him .

Dr. Grider has become completely disconnected from what is occurring in his clinic. My appointments are made to "be seen " by Dr. Grider. Have not seen him in over a year, always a PA. I need to talk to him about something major going wrong with my back but he is never available. He is never the one to do procedures and yes, I am aware that UK/Good Sam is/are teaching hospitals but I specifically ask to see him and am assured that I will see him, it never occurs. The procedures the residents are doing to me are not working. Something else is going on and I need to find out what is wrong. My other physicians say I have to see Dr. Grider because "he" (maybe) installed my pain pump.

Dr. Grider is a really good doctor. I find him to be funny and caring.

Dr. Grinder is the most caring doctor I've ever experienced. He takes the time necessary to make sure I'm okay and understand what needs to be done. His primary concern is my comfort. Dr. Grinder is truly the best doctor I've ever had.
