Very short with me, below average bed side manner. Far from warm and fuzzy, even “friendly” may be a stretch. Wish I would’ve chosen a different doctor. Not sure why there’s good reviews. Office doesn’t return phone calls. Doctor doesn’t follow up as promised.

After living for almost a year with an undiagnosed condition, Dr. Grove pinpointed the problem (gall bladder), and within a week he had removed it robotically. No more pain! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and experienced as a surgeon, he is also a kind and caring person who I felt I could trust completely.. HE'S MY HERO!

Dr. Grove's expertise allowed me at age 66 to walk into the hospital, have him guide a robot to move a third of my stomach from above my diaphragm to his rightful location, to walk out the hospital the next day with no bandages or dressings--just 5 abdominal slits super-glued back together, and no need for prescription pain meds. This surgery was nothing short of miraculous! I thought I would need to go to LA to have such a state-of-the art experience; but was able to do it at Palomar Hospital. Should I ever need more surgery--ROBOTICS with Dr. Grove will be my first choice.

Dr. Grove recently removed my gallbladder Robotically, and it was an incredibly easy recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Grove! He is knowledgeable, professional, kind, compasssionate and very skilled in his practice. The office staff are very helpful and attentative also.

No help from his office when setting up appointments, friendlier towards females or people for his plastic surgery half. Set my own appointments up, office is slow to send over requests and prescriptions. Been 2 weeks since my test and no follow up, not even a call back to discuss the details of the tests. Someone young or who doesn't know what is going on and looking for answers; my advice to you is "Dont, Just DON'T..."
