Summary
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and decided to go to UCLA for undergraduate work. As a freshman, I had an opportunity to volunteer for a transplant research lab in cardiothoracic surgery and immediately fell in love with medicine. After college, I went to NYU for medical school. New York City is a wonderful place with lots of energy, culture, and excitement. I was not quite ready to come back to California right after medical school, so I spent the next five years in New York City as a resident and chief resident at NYU Medical Center in the Department of Radiology. Next, I returned to California to complete an interventional radiology fellowship at UC San Francisco Medical Center. After five years of private practice in Las Vegas, I decided to relocate with my family to Orange County in Southern California.
