Dr. Jay Steven Miller, MD

Dr. Jay Miller see patients only one day a week. Assistants do all work with patients, leaving the impression that patient visits are beneath him. Dr spends an average of 8 to 10 minutes with patients and is dismissive of patients concerns. Dr Miller appears to be preoccupied or, in order words, not in the moment. Office waiting area is way too small for the amount of patients that visit in wheelchairs, the doorway is tight for wheelchairs and there is no door-stops or door-holds, making is difficult to hold door open and push wheelchair simultaneously. Maybe he as a lot going on. It would be beneficial for all concerned, that he would be in the moment and not somewhere else.

I am an Active Duty Soldier who was looking forward to being a patient of Dr Miller. I was told that he would need to see my medical records prior to seeing me. I took all of my records I had concerning my vascular injuries. I recieved a call from his office stating Dr Miller said he can't do anything for you! I was shocked because I have never experienced this type of reject to be physically seen from a Doctor for my injuries. For a Doctor to make their recommendation to accept you as their patient from review of your medical records is unethical and immoral. I would never recommend any Active Duty, Retired, Service Member or Family member to this Doctor to be subjected to this type of treatment. This Dr may have decades of experience but when it comes to patient concern and care..... Read for your self... It sucks!!! Tricare Prime needs to remove Dr Miller from their credentianal system as a Doctor who sees Tricare Patients period!!
