Dr. Jay Jitendra Patel

Dr Jay Patel is one of the nicest, most humble, understanding, and amazing oral surgeon in Atlanta, ga. My dentist informed me that, I had cavities in all if my wisdom teeth when I went to have my teeth cleaned. So I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted asap, and i started looking for a really good oral surgeon. I immediately found Dr. Patel, and scheduled a consultation with him. He informed me that it would be a smooth, quick, and easy process. So I set up my appointment to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on his next available day for surgery. I had called the office several times asking a million questions even after my consultation, and everytime I called they answered them with no hesitation. The day of my surgery I was so scared, and wanted to cry lol I've never had surgery in my entire life, and was thinking the worse. When I got to the office for my appt, I asked several more questions to Mariel. She was professional, nice, and reassured me that I was in good… hands so that eased my anxiety a little bit. I even spoke with Sreya who always answered my questions promptly, and was always very professional as well. After the dental assistants put me under the laughing gas, and Dr. Patel sedated me with the the anthesia putting the iv in my arm. I literally was asleep in seconds, and I don't remember anything at all. I know Dr. Patel told me that after I'm asleep he would be using the local anthesia to numb my gums for the procedure as well. When I woke up I was a little dizzy, and out of it just a little bit coming off of the sedation. The surgery went so fast, and I wasn't feeling as bad as, I thought I would. Dr. Patel and the dental assistants told me everything went well and it was a smooth surgery. They put me in a wheel chair, and had my ride help me inside of the car. They called me not even a hour after, I left to check on me. I even called after they closed to ask about me repacking my gauze in my mouth, and Dr. Patel called me back in exactly 1 minute! The office even called me the next day to check on me to do a follow up. Let me say this THIS ORAL SURGEON OFFICE AND STAFF ARE INCREDIBLE PEOPLE! Everyone in the office from the receptionist, dental assistants, and Dr. Patel made me feel so comfortable and safe. I literally was so fearful and scared to have this surgery. From the consultation, calling asking a million questions, and the day of surgery was simply amazing! I received the upmost care, outstanding customer service, and I was taken care of like I was family. Getting all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at one time is very serious, and this oral surgeon office did their due diligence to make sure that I had a great experience. Dr. Patel is very kind, professional, understanding, and a EXPERTISE IN THIS FIELD. He literally pulled all 4 teeth out precisely and perfectly from the root. It take a very skilled surgeon like Dr. Patel to extract teeth this perfectly, and I'm so happy that I found him. He is a oral surgeon that take pride in his work and it shows. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at piedmont oral and surgery. You guys made me feel so comfortable, and thank you for helping me get over my fear of my surgery. You guys are all so beautiful and AMAZING!! If you're looking for a oral surgeon office that is going to take care you from start to finish this most definitely is the place to go. Dr. Patel and his staff are awesome! Very friendly, professional and always willing to work with my schedule. He explained everything in a way I could understand and made me feel at ease.

He is very friendly and cares about his patients. However, hurt a nerve and now I have no feeling in my bottom chin.
