If you are looking for a doctor who will take your temperature, pulse and blood pressure and then prescribe whatever pills you need, then this is the doctor for you. He always has a big smile for you.If instead you need someone to be empathetic and understanding and take an active role in your health, then you should see someone else.Dr. Prosnitz only gives you a minute to speak before completely dominating the conversation. If an issue arises where he would need to do any extra work (e.g.: a negative drug reaction), he will quickly deny the exiastance of the issue and prescribe another pill.If you should need to apply for disability insurance, make sure you read his reports to the insurance company as he will report things he has no knowledge of. He cow toes to insurance companies and will drop you as a patient in lieu of working on a disability case.

thought I may have a prostrate problem but better to be safe than sorry. never brought up the subject on the next visit

Great bedside manner. Takes an interest in patient. Very Talkative. The opposite of most doctors. If you are looking for a doctor that will throw medicine at the problem don't choose this doctor . He likes to diagnose and test before prescribing.
