Was told I would never have to wear glasses again. Paid lots of money for the light adjustable lenses. Now I wear glasses anytime I want to read or use a computer. Don't waste your money on the light adjustable lenses, they are a huge profit center for Schwartz but a bad deal for you. Then what really irritated me, 9 months after prepaying for every single thing, I get a bill today for $314. What? I prepaid, this place doesn't let you do anything without paying ahead of time. Go elsewhere.

My experience with Dr Schwartz was 10 out of 10 stars. From the first consultation throughout the 2 follow ups after each eye surgery his entire staff at the Shea office and the Outpatient Surgery center were courteous, helpful, patient and explained everything as often as I needed it. I had the laser victus cataract surgery and the Technis Multifocus lense implanted in both eyes. Immediately after surgery I could see, it was cloudy and blurry for about 4 hours and after that vision improves hourly. The next morning when I woke up I could see almost 20/20 - I was nervous before the first eye was done but after talking to people that had it done and reading and researching, I was fine. Once the first eye was done, I couldn't wait to get the second one done! The eye drops before and after surgery are hardly any inconvenience and the staff give you a chart to check off each day so you don't forget or get confused. There was no pain before or after surgery in either eye, I didn't even… need an asprin. This is the best experience I've ever had with a medical doctor and his staff- Dr Schwartz has it going on and his customer service and care is beyond what I expected to receive. I would recommend Dr Schwartz to anyone and already have. I can see perfectly and don't need glasses to read, for the computer or for distance. Driving at night is fine too- I don't have hallows or starbursts or if I do, they are so minor I don't notice it. I was so impressed with how efficiently patients move through the admin office on Shea and in Glendale and through the Outpatient Surgery center- I never waited on any appointment more than 5 minutes- I'm just blown away at how good this whole experience has been and wish I had know about this 5 years ago. I'm a 66 year old male in good health and I now have 20 year old eyes! We are lucky to have such a great doctor and staff available to us. I just can't say enough about how pleased I am and how exciting it has been to go from seeing so poorly and wearing glasses to seeing 20/20 in both eyes so soon after the surgery! My appointment for an eye refraction lasted 2 hours & 15 minutes. Dr. Schwartz spent 3 minutes with me. Dr. Schwartz never reviewed the results of the eye refraction I had with his staff or offered me a copy of the RX. Too much waiting time in the office & no communication from Dr. Schwartz.

The most thorough eye exam I ever had.Staff was super friendly and very professional. My vision is better than ever.
