Dr. Jayanthi Kumar, MD

I am a registered nurse and have found Dr. Kumar to be outstanding in her care for me over the past few years. She is thorough, always makes me feel like I am her only patient. She explains everything and clarifies for me. She always follows up by calling me with test results or by mail. Her referrals have always been very satisfactory to other excellent providers. She listens to me and I find her extremely knowledgeable in all the areas of health and disease that particularly concern me. I would never hesitate to recommend her to others in need of competent care.

I can't believe the anonymous reviewer from 2009 went to this Dr. Kumar. MY Dr. Jayanthi Kumar is kind, courteous, thoughtful. She is never too busy to listen to me and address my concerns. She has always discussed alternate therapies with me prior to medication--such as supplements and vitamins, weight loss, exercise and other lifestyle change. She never fails to follow up with test results or to check on outcomes of recommended therapies. When needed, she always recommends competent, highly rated specialists. There is not a single thing about my experience with Dr. Kumar that has been less than first rate.

I have already sent friends and family to Dr. Kumar. She is the best doctor my husband and I have ever had. She has made a difficult, life-altering diagnosis on my husband. She has been great at routine medical care. She is respectful, knowledgeable and careful. She is definitely a 5 star doctor.

She comes across as unfriendly and loves to hand out pills instead of finding other options for simple problems.
