Be warned.

Very uncaring doctor. The place is a colonoscopy mill. He wouldn’t listen to my concerns and wouldn’t give me any general advise until I got a colonoscopy. He made me wait in a freezing cold room for 20 minutes on two separate occasions while I could hear him laughing it up with a patient in the next room. He didn’t even refer to me by name instead greeting me with, “Oh, you’re the one with the colitis.” What? I couldn’t believe my ears! He spent maybe 5 minutes with me and I swear I was still trying to ask him questions as he rushed me over to the receptionist to schedule the procedure. Unbelievable. Now for some crazy reason, I went ahead and scheduled a colonoscopy with this jerk. Well, after I woke up from sedation he had flown the coop and I didn’t get an appt. to see him for another two weeks. KAching - another co-pay! (I think it’s partly a Florida thing. Healthcare down here is atrocious. My last gastroenterologist sat down with me afterwards and explained everything and… spent time with me so I could ask all my questions.) I asked the nurse why he left without saying anything and she told me he talked to me while I was still on the table. I wasn’t even awake yet! Who does that? Oh, and I noticed spots of blood on the sheets too. And I bled a little more for a day or two. I am not sure how he is getting good reviews. I believe some to be friends and family. I would recommend ANY other doctor in town. Oh, and some, not all, of his staff was unfriendly and one was downright rude!

Dr jay is a great dr, he cares about his patients, he treats them with empathy,he spends time wit. U. He's a great doctor!

I have been having my endoscopy with Dr. Kamath for the past 4 years. I would recommend anyone to have their procedures done at this facility. The staff is professional, loving and efficient. Everyone knows what they are doing so there's no confusion. Dr. Kamath greets me with a smile each time I've met him and handled my visits to his office like I'm a human being and never a number. The facility is clean . Smells snd looks great and my favorite of all is... I never wait long. The office gives you an appointment, and they take you on time. I'll go to dr Kamath and recommend him slways.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kamath's for many, many years and he and is staff are always very kind and helpful. I would not go to any other G.I doctor at this point because I have developed a good patient-staff relationship and that is hard to find in most doctor offices these days. I have two family members that also are patients of Dr.Kamath and they both speak very highly of him.

I've known Dr Kamath for quite a few years. I've always been impressed with the easy, amiable way we can sit down and discuss my particular situation, and while it is clear that he is the expert in field, he's never come across as someone who "knows it all". If something is not working, he's always willing to try something I might suggest, providing it's witihin reason. I highly respect his mind-body approach
