Dr. Jayashree Puvvula, MD

I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a doctor, in part because of the compassionate care I saw my grandmother receive in the last few years of her life. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity

About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.

How I thrive
I firmly believe in the philosophy of total health …and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to Dodger games, I referee for my son's little league baseball games, and I try to remain active with my local softball team. My wife, two sons, and I enjoy summer camping trips to Lake Tahoe, and quiet family time at home.
