Dr. Patel was highly recommended to me via a friend. My MD of 20 yrs retired and I needed a new MD. When I went into the office with new patient papers in hand, the women at the front desk, questioned my meds, infront of everyone there, and told me “he won’t write for some of these meds”. I have a long hx of back pain, including multiple surgeries, and anxiety. Needless to say this was very embarrassing and made me feel like I was a “drug seeker”. Which I am not !!!! Dr. Patel has never met me, or laid eyes on me, doesn’t know my history etc, yet won’t write for certain drugs. Being a nurse, I understand that the state is coming down harder on docs for writing specific meds, that doesn’t mean that you just dismiss peoples needs, some people have legitimate reasons for being on these meds. I am aware of another perspective pt who also had this issue with Dr. Patel. I refer people all the time to a variety of docs, Dr. Patel will NOT be one of them. Very disappointed !!

I've been going to Dr. Patel for four years and he is amazing! He really cares about his patients and that's really hard to find these days.

I've been going to Dr. Patel with my parents since I left my pediatrician at age 18. Dr. Patel has helped me with many, if not all, of my health matters. His bedside manner mixed with his general caring nature make him a great choice for your primary care provider.
