He's terrible

Dr. Patel's office did not return my mother's phone calls after she'd fallen in her home and wasn't feeling well. She was later taken to the hospital and admitted where it was found she had had a heart attack. Dr. Patel never had any contact with her while she was in the hospital. He had written prescriptions for 4 medications that made her dizzy & or drowsy. She was taking a medication that we have now been told would never be given to someone with her problems. He prescribed blood pressure medication but the dosage was so uneven that it had to be changed. Dr. Patel didn't recognize this problem, a family member figured it out. My mother's legs felt tired and weak for a number of years, but Dr. Patel never recommended additional tests. Fortunately, the ER physicians recognized the signs and got her the help she needed. I would caution anyone thinking of seeking medical care from Dr. Patel.
