Dr. Jayleen Mary Grams, MD

I do not feel like my surgery was successful. When I went back for a follo-up, I had to have some tests done on different floors. When I finished, I went for my appointment with Dr Grams. I was almost 15 min late which was not my fault as I went as soon as I got the tests. She made me wait about 3 hours. I started to leave by my husband wanted me to see her. I do not believe these rave reviews because I have seen others where patients said she doesn’t seem to care. When I went in, I had an O2 sat of 99, after surgery, it went down to 83/84. It took awhile to get my sats back up. It literally hurt to breathe. My first surgery, after several days I was feeling good. After her surgery, I was feeling bad after 2 months. I went back and told them I wasn’t feeling well since surgery but they did a few tests and didn’t offer any solutions, other than I could come in and have my esophagus streatched. I chose not to since I’d just had it tightened. I told her I was experiencing phlegm in my… throat all the time and had never experienced that before and she looked at me and said, I don’t know. She was uncaring and I did not have a good outcome. I will never use her again, even as a veterinarian. I had a very hopeful outlook when I went to her as I’d had such a good outcome with prior surgery. Use your own judgement but she doesn’t care!!

Dr. Grams is a brilliant, caring surgeon. My GI surgery was complex and high risk. She brought me through it with a better than expected result, and I am forever grateful.

Dr is perfect in every way. The best Dr I've ever met.

I was impressed with her education, place of residency and where she did her fellowship.I felt confident she knew the latest techniques and knew how to use them.I was very pleased with my decision to travel 200 miles for her to do the surgery. Not only is she an MD but also has a PhD.She took time to discuss my options, made me part of the decision process....she is the new breed of Doctors that partnerships her skills with your input which allows a team decision between patient and Dr. Older Dr's should try to learn that technique.Thank you Dr. Grams !!!!!!!
