Just met Dr. Patel and was so impressive with his attentiveness to detail and oh my, what a great bedside manner!

Terible waiting time in a Mercy medical building.

Will not answer questions, never wants to be questioned about a procedure or discuss an alternate procedure. Does not review tests administered before entering the room. Self centered. Communicates poorly verbally and in writing. Very negative anytime you ask for his assessment of his findings. Always concerned about getting the next patient rather than spending one extra minute with you. All about profitability rather than concern for the patient.

Rushed through exam ,treated me as if I was stupid , and bed side manner ,there was none

Dr. Patel told me I needed a stent put in for a kidney stone. I told him that I did not want it after having complications from another one. He put it in anyway. Then when I had to go to the ER twice he got mad and told me to find a different Doctor.
