Dr. Jayshri Radhe Chasmawala, DO

Under the impression that the Dr. was with another patient, I patiently waited in the waiting room. Then she walked in 20 minutes after my appointment with a handful of jcrew and banana republic bags. Talk about an unprofessional first impression.Unfortunately, this first impression set the tone for numerous other unprofessional situations. If I can give any advice, don't waste your time with this office. I have been trying to refill a simple prescription for 3 weeks now. They do not answer the phone, and out of maybe 30 phone calls, one was returned and was very uninformative. I advise you to go elsewhere.

If you don't mind spending half a day in a poorly air conditioned office and listening to a lecture about the evils of meat and why you should be vegan, Dr Chasmawala might be a good fit. Also, before making the appointment, I called to ensure she would be able to help me understand my alternative care options, specifically acupuncture, but it turns out she didn't know anything about it once I got in a room with her. Disappointed, and will continue my search for a good PCP.

We just received a call from a collections agency regarding a balance at this clinic. We had moved a couple of months after a visit to this clinic and the bills they sent never made it to us. I called the clinic and asked why no one called the phone number on the account to confirm address when they were continuously returned and was told that "we don't call patients, we send unpaid bills to collections." I asked one more time why if we had not corresponded in reply to the bills they repeatedly sent to an old address why they would not try to call one time before sending them to collections and the response was "we don't have to call our patients."Dr. Jayshri herself is nice, however somewhat unethical that she will not see a patient for more than one complaint at one visit (i.e.-I was sick and also needed a follow up for management of my anxiety which she was seeing me for) and requests multiple follow-ups to drag out one visit into 4; but her office management staff is incredibly… inefficient and unconcerned with their patients' care and satisfaction. Her office staff is enough to deter me from remaining a patient there as well as ward future patients off from her practice. Not recommended in the least.Poor management.

I've only been in once. Setting the appointment was easy, but getting what I needed was not. When making the appointment, I told them I needed blood work done. When I arrived I waited 45 min. to see the doctor, mostly because she and her staff were involved in a shouting match with another patient. By the time I got to see the doctor, I was told it was too late to send the blood work to the lab, so I would have to go to the lab myself. Now I am trying to get my prescriptions refilled, and I actually had to stop by the office in order to speak to someone, since no one EVER answers the phone. And when I stopped in, Bianca was so rude and uncaring that I almost got into a shouting match with her myself. Luckily, I stopped myself and had to laugh at how ridiculous the service is. And when I told Bianca that I would be looking for another doctor, she couldn't have cared less. Not sure why someone who obviously doesn't care about patients is in the health care business, but I won't be going… back. The doctor herself seems okay, but I only saw her once, so I don't really know how capable she is as a doctor. However, I can say with confidence that she does not know how to set up an office or how to hire quality assistants.

Dr. Chasmawata was nice, but her office staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I found the office dirty, especially the examining room, which was a problem because I have a toddler. I don't know if her diagnosis was accurate, but I found better advice than what she gave me by doing a basic internet search and by talking to relatives.

I find Pure Health Family Practice a very good place to make "the same day appointment".Waiting time is very reasonable too, around 20-30 min (considering some other places where I would wait a hour or hour and a half). The staff could be a little more professional but I never had serious issues. Dr Chasmawala was always very considered and attentive to what I had to say which is a rare quality when it comes to doctors. Lakewood location makes it also easy place to come too if you live in the neighborhood. Overall I am rating this Family Practice and Dr. Jayshri Chasmawala's work as "very good" to "excellent".

Dr. Chasmawala is a good general doctor. She keeps a nice focus on the most critical symptoms. She is a young doctor and has a fresh approach to medical treatment. She will only get better as time goes on because she is always keeping up with current ideas and training. Very disciplined and caring.

Have had great experiences with the Doctor and her staff. Make you feel that they care about you and tour health. My whole family uses them.

Office is definitely easy to find. I was greeted with professional courtesy. Very little wait time. I will go yearly now for my checkups.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chasmawala for over two years. I have to say she has the worst office personnel I have ever seen at a Drs office. They are immature, rude and unprofessional.. often talking about other patients within your hearing. It's impossible to get tehm to return a phone call when you have questions. I ALWAYS have to make time to go into the office to receive my test results even when they are normal and there are no problewms. I guess so I can pay for another office visit! It's a nightmare to get prescriptions re-filled and often new prescriptions she says she wants to put me on never get sent to the pharmacy and then she will say she doesn't remember the conversation. I have waited more than an hour to see her on three different occasions. Too much trouble and not worth it!
