Not compassionate and understanding as he should be; talks a lot but doesn't listen well to patient's concerns; tends to be defensive.

I have an HMO insurance plan through the state. I only have to pay a $45 copay. They refused to accept the copay (even though they are in network) and wanted me to pay $178 because I haven't met my deductible. I have had this plan for years and always only have a $35/$45 copay and do not have to meet my deductible. I got my insurance company on the phone and they verified that only the copay was due. Dr. Phelps' office refused to honor that. I have used Dr. Phelps in the past and was very happy with him as a doctor, but I just don't feel like this is right for him to knowingly try to overcharge me.

Dr. Phelps was really nice and kind. He was very professional and answered all of my questions in great detail. His staff was very respectful and kind as well. There office was very tidy and clean. They were very timely and walked me through the whole process. I will definitely be going back in the future.

He is very compassionate and understanding. He is very easy to talk with. He is a people person, and he has a heart for others.

Dr. Phelps Is a wonderful Podiatrist. His staff are all very caring and helpful. If you need to go to a Podiatrist I highly recommend Dr. Jason Phelps.
