Dr. Jd D Wideman, DO

Should not be a doctor. Very immature, unprofessional.

I have been going to Dr. JD Wideman since I came to Colorado, from Illinois, in 2012. She patiently followed up with my old regimen and we work as a team to ensure all new items of concern are taken care of. She helps remind me when I am due to come back in, she refers me to the greatest specialists (as I have some unique health items to be considered). She is on the ball, delightful, and down to earth. I always know my family and myself will be taken care of, with our best interests in mind (especially when dealing with medications vs. lifestyle changes). Her guidance and experience is second to none.

Awful, impolite, and extremely unprofessional.

I have never had a bad appointment with Dr Wideman. I have a couple of difficult to manage conditions and she always takes the time to hear me out. She is humble enough to admit when she doesn't have all of the answers but is more than willing to go out of her way to find them. I have never had concerns about my care with her as my PCP. Her bedside manner is excellent and I have never felt rushed or that she was distracted by other things. I would highly recommend her to others!

Went for an annual physical but reported my services as a regular check up. My insurance pays 100% of my annual physical. Since she took the notes wrongly, I ended up paying the bill. Will never go back.

I highly recommend that you do not see this doctor unless you are looking for a 2 minute assessment by someone who makes snap diagnoses without collecting all of the information. In addition, when I tried to ask clarifying questions, she was very short with me. In the end, she left the office in a huff and didn't even return. She sent the nurse in to send me on my way. I did not feel any compassion from Dr. Wideman and felt like she was annoyed that I was there. I had a scheduled appointment, but it seemed that anything longer than 5 minutes was intolerable to her.
