Summary
Dr. Birmingham grew up in St. Louis and knew she wanted to be a doctor while still in high school. She attended college at Ohio Wesleyan University from 1980-1984, graduated magna cum laude and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She returned to Missouri for medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1984-1988. After choosing a career in pediatrics, she did her internship and residency at Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She started practice in St. Louis in 1991 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and was selected as a Top Doc by St. Louis Magazine in 2010. Dr. Birmingham is married and the very proud mother of an energetic 5 year old. In her rare free time she enjoys biking, her book club and baking.
