Dr. Jean Linnette Grem, MD

My nearly 86-year-old mother had stage 4 pancreatic cancer (no hope) and was prescribed chemotherapy by Dr. Grem. My mother died eight days later. She spent five of those days inpatient at UNMC. Not one word from Dr. Grem to explain what happened. I'm pretty sure that the chemotherapy session hastened my mother's death and likely by months.

Incredibly unprofessional and the worst show of ethics I’ve seen from any medical professional in a very long time. She refused treatment and neglected to refill medication for a stage four pancreatic cancer patient because she ASSUMED he was racist. Purely because he cane in with a mask on that had a Greek symbol on it which in fact was actually representation of the obstacle course race he is training for. As a stage four cancer patient this is something so commendable instead she took her own agenda and jeopardized the life of a patient in need. She deserves to lose her job, her license, and never practice medicine again. You do not get the right to discriminate in any circumstance as a medical professional. It is illegal, unethical, and just down right wrong.

Very poor interpersonal skills which is unusual for most oncologists...Possesses the knowledge but can’t relate with patient or family. I would never recommend her to someone fighting cancer!

You will not find a more knowledgeable, more aggressive, more caring doctor, period!

Excellent doctor and wonderful staff. Trusted my life to her and she helped me win! Would not trust anyone else but her.
