Never have I ever given a negative review to a physician however, Being new to Corpus, I found doctor JJ Carr did not listen to my needs and concerns. It seems he won’t prescribe medication he has not previously prescribed even if the medication has proven to work well for me. The RX I requested was a 1 pill a week, RX, however the RX he prescribed required I take 4 pills each day w/o the full results of the RX I requested. This scenario happened twice. I finally decided to quit being his patient and opted for virtual appointments with my original doctor. Very disappointed.

Always a thourough and accurate visit. Very patient, clean office. I have been a patient for about 15 years, and I will continue with her as long as possible.

Our family has been going to Dr. J.J. Carr for many years and have always felt very confident in his ability to care for our health issues. We feel verycomfortable asking any questions, knowing he will answer them gladly without making us feel ignorant for asking , like some doctors do .. I have always been impressed with his professionalism but today I learned how compassionate he is as well ... My husband (who has been suffering through a long illness, had an appointment today and Dr. J.J Carr was very caring and understanding of our physical and emotional circumstances . He went above and beyond, to help us in any way he could. We have been in and out of several hospitals lately and seen many different doctors but none of them treated us with as much care and compassion as him! We are so grateful ! Thank God for Doctors like him ??

Wonderful and caring Family/Internist Dr's Lana and Jean Jacques (JJ) Carr. Have been under their care approximately 8 yrs. Easy scheduling for appointments, and extended hours, courteous professional staff. The Dr's treat overall symptoms, with follow-up tests, appointments, prescribe medications accordingly. Highly recommend Calallen Medical Clinic.
