Dr. Jean Marie Koka, DO

It was an awful Doctor visit I ever experienced in my 40 years in the United States. The day before I visited the office and explained my situation very clearly for almost 2 hours to her stuff and other Doctors there, I asked several times if she is willing to take me on like a patient, she replied YES and I should get all my records to her and have an appointment tomorrow at 12:30 so I an other hour and made sure she had everything, before I left I asked again and again they said YES. I explained to them that I only have until Tuesday to take my Avastin (FDA approved for my case). So I asked her since my time limit is so short, can you please prescribe one time since I need to find an other oncologist? Her answer was straight out NO, and when I asked why? She replied that I was just diagnosed 6 weeks ago, therefore she can not. I explained to her that my conditions life expectancy is about a year to a year and a half. (Glioblastoma phase 4). Instead she offered to keep seeing me so… when my treatment fails she can get the chemotherapy and Radiation. Complete luck of compassion (my daughter is in Medical school, I really hope she is not going to turn like this Doctor.)
