I had the honor, no, the PRIVILEGE to have surgery by Dr. Jean- Louis Caron. Dr. Caron is VERY knowledgeable, marvelous, admirable & I couldn't recommend him more. I was scheduled for a cranioplasty but that was when COVID happened but as soon as a slot was open he scheduled my surgery. I had suffered a major stroke which had left me paralyzed from my right side, aphasia & other cognitive issues (not from the surgery that Dr. Caron performed) and he was able to "fix" me. I couldn't thank him enough. I was so sad to hear he's retiring!

neurosurgeons are a lofty group but this man is meek, amazing easy to speak with

My neurologist referred me to Dr. Caron for a muscle biopsy. Dr. Caron said that he would be taking 3-5 samples. On the day of surgery he only took ONE, which only confirmed what we already knew. Other than that it was inconclusive. The whole point of me allowing someone to cut on me was to determine which of the 3 forms I have.

Came back with my wife Argie...she was surgically intervened by Dr. Carons team...Dr. Caron explained that my wifes situation was unique...their prompt intervention saved my wifes life and has returned her to her previous self...I truly apologize for the previous review..and am realky thankful for Dr. Caron and his team..

Dr. Caron operated on me in Montreal QC. in1988 at the MGH. His compassion and understanding is equaled by no one else. He was a friend to me ,not just a doctor. I have the utmost respect for DR. Caron

I am a Parkinson's patient. Have had DBS surgery with him and the results have been outstanding Would highly recommend him.
