Dr. Jean Patricia Reid, MD

Dr. Jean Reid was rude, rude, rude, made me feel so insignificant. Would not listen. After waiting 1 hour and 40 mintes, she spent only 5 with me did not introduce herself was more worried bout here LUNCH then helping me. Sent me away with nothing. I can,t tell you how appalled I was.

Dr. Reid is horrible. My regular doctor was sick so she subbed. I went in for an annual physical. I was examined and told her I was having some problems with my knee. She prescribed RICE!! rest, ice, compression, elevation. Then she charged me $157.00 extra for asking one question. Talk about gouging!

Dr. Reid has been the best doctor I have found so far in my life. I am 56 years old and have finally found a doctor who cares about me. She spends whatever time is necessary to deal with me and what I am going through... I just found out that she is leaving Ballinger Clinic and I sure hope I find out where she will be from now on. I already miss her!

Dr. Reid is smart and thinks about what is right for each patient. Granted, she is not a rubber stamp for what other doctors have done in the past. She thinks each problem through, gets additional information if necessary, and presents alternatives to the patient. She is not a "push over" if you want someone who will write drugs for you without thinking--get a different doctor. She keeps current with the "changes in medicine" and tells you when things have changed. She has called in the evening when she is working on my case and presented new ideas she has gotten when discussing my case with other specialists. Appointments are easy to get. I do not need to wait for months. The Clinic has rules she must follow and sometimes this is not under her control. If you are open to change and want current views on your medical problems, she is the doctor for you.
