The daughter of a butcher, Dr. Jean Garripoli Wahl is a one of nine children and the first person in her family to attend graduate school. Jean attended Rutgers University with her sister Jeralyn. Jeralyn decided to pursue physical therapy, and Jean decided that it was finally time to do something different than her twin! Jean graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a two-year general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. After practicing briefly in Pennsylvania, she joined her husband Patrick and her brother-in-law Michael at Wahl Family Dentistry in 2001. Jean enjoys spending time with her three children in the family minivan.
