To Physician Assistant Jeanette Bettes, healthcare is ultimately all about the client and she holds every conversation with them in a sacred and safe space. She wants the people she cares for to feel heard and comforted as they build an ongoing relationship. She has worked in health care in various roles for over 20 years. In addition to working as an APRN/PA supervisor for multiple primary care clinics, she has served in the United States Peace Corps, treated inmates at the Travis County Jail, and practiced family medicine in underserved populations.
Jeanette has a deep appreciation of integrative medicine and takes an evidence-based and preventive approach to care. She helps her clients prioritize lifestyle changes that can optimize health. Personally, she is always looking for her next adventure and absolutely loves trying new things. She stays active in life including jogging around Lady Bird Lake and enjoys spending quality time with her family, and relaxing with a good book or …movie.
