Dr. Jeanne E Anderson, MD

My diagnosis was pretty scary and I can't imagine going to any other oncologist for my treatment in the 5.5 years I went there. Dr. Anderson is extremely thoughtful in considering her patient's individual care and works hard to stay up-to-date on the latest research. We've since moved to the Lower-48 and I saw the head oncologist at Vanderbilt Center for the Breast. All I can say is that the care and information I received there didn't even come close to my experience with Dr. Anderson. Not in a million years. Trust her. You are in good hands.

I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and she came highly recommended by my surgeon. She is very capable - extremely knowledgable - but her bedside manner is pretty much nil. Her staff was horrid - and you deal with the staff a LOT when you're going through cancer, so I knew I had to make a change. That said, this all went down in 2012, so maybe her staff and bedside manner have improved.
