I cannot recommend Dr. Bernard highly enough! From the very first appointment decades ago, Dr. Bernard demonstrated an exceptional level of care, professionalism, and expertise. As someone who has dealt with a severe weight problem exacerbated by a birth defect and thyroid issues for years, I have never felt more confident and supported in my treatment plan. Dr. Bernard takes the time to listen attentively to all concerns and explains complex medical concepts in a way that is easy to understand. Dr Bernard is the best physician I’ve ever had. She responds quickly to my requests and thoroughly answers questions.

An employee from this office called the cops on my mother while she was loading up her car in the parking lot after visiting my neighboring residence. The employee claimed she believed my mother to be living in her car (which she was not and there was no evidence to say otherwise). The lady made no effort to converse with my mother before calling law enforcement. Not only is this extremely rude but it is quite dangerous considering the current political climate regarding police. She made no effort to apologize after harassing my mother and having police question her as well as enter my home. Would not want to work with such unprofessional, rude, and ignorant staff.

I have never met a doctor so willing to spend time with a patient and listening completely! Dr. Bernard is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone I know! I have been her care for over 8 years now, and consider her to be one of the best ever! Thanks to Dr. Bernard and her staff for continued specialized service!

I have been seeing Dr Bernard for a VERY long time. I tolerated how she mistreated her high turn over of staff, the constant in and out of anyone during my appt, the very long wait (sometimes over 45 mins beyond my scheduled appt time), her vulgar language, complaints about her staff and "need" patients, and so much more, because at one time I felt she actually cared about my well being. I've recently seen the light after so many years of mistreatment. I've honestly always had to advocate for myself with regard to labs, medications, etc. Her current office staff is compiled of the rudest, most condescending people I've ever encountered. Which is comical because these are her longest employed staff members in the decade I have been her patient. I recently read through my online "visit summary" section and absolutely none of it is accurate. I'm shocked and intend to file a complaint with the medical board. For my own personal reasons, I also intend to alert the DEA to her past behaviors.… I sincerely hope that any and all can avoid seeing her because she should truly be shut down. She's negligent regarding care, files and prescription writing. BEWARE!

Shes great! Runs a tight ship with her young employees. She knows her stuff and personally follow ups. I drive an hour to see her

I cannot believe how incredibly unprofessional this doctor is. She is cruel, treating her staff worse than horse manure. I had to witness her calling her sweet receptionist stupid in front of a room of other patient's all over something petty that seemed like it was an easy fix. She walked up and down the hall dropping the F bomb, degradin and belittling her staff. I saw tears in ones eyes. This is such a sad case...she herself needs to see a doctor, probably a psychiatrist. ..she has some obvious issues. I feel so sorry for the office staff, they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I am so disqusted by her behavior i have opted to see another endocrinologist in town. One that is less sick than I am. I could never trust this woman with my health. I advise you to be weary. She is a lose canon. I pray for all souls that walk into that office.

She posts her patient visit summary online.... when I read it I was shocked, I don't know who she wrote it about but nothing about it was correct, and we did not discuss the things she said, she did not write about my symptoms, except one and her explanation was ridiculous if she had been paying attention. It really read like she wrote what the insurance company wanted to hear. The long time she spent discussing my symptoms, NOT! Alternative therapies never discussed for something not even diagnosed. She put down I have a physical condition, I do not. Then when bloodwork came back over double the normal limits, she had her PA to tell me she didn't know why I was having the symptoms I was. He said I could call her on the weekend with any questions. Nope... Booked another appt with a Dr who is awesome and professional and took the time to really discuss my symptoms, did tests in office and ordered more workups because my bloodwork concerned her being so high. Dr Bernard is just another… Dr who promises to help, but doesn't follow thru, and didn't listen. And to be blown off after abnormal labs? She either didn't care or knew enough about my condition.

My visit to this Dr was beyond bizarre. She was more interested in her dog than me. Never touched me. At outset I asked her to please order something for My infected toe, she forgot . I called back immediately but no return. Had to goto ER ( infection same leg as knee prosthesis ). She ordered 2 PAGES of labs rather than a few key labs then let results lead to more..when I told her the Derm suspected Addison's i heard about her BF & all her attention. went that direction. The DERM was wrong of course. I am an RN & PHN & know a good practice when I see one. This is not one.
